This project was born for all the girls in Africa without resources to be educated and informed about their owns bodies and periods.
Also is an opportunity to introduce them to a menstrual cup donated by Ruby Cup thanks to a buy one give one program.
Menstruation is often a taboo subject, silenced, and ignored. Many girls and women do not know what their period is when they first get it, and often lack the support from their community to talk openly about menstruation.
